You might appreciate this. I'm not saying this is it. I don't know, but it goes with what @Lambano said.

Thank you @Lambano and @DuckieLady for you comments. I asked the Lord about this vision, and he gave me a few pathways to consider. The vision is of Christians coming out of the churches who have become obese because they are feeding themselves and are not using their knowledge to feed others. A friend told me the other day how easy it is for the Western world to have the Word of God freely available and to read it at any time. Yet believers from other parts of the world are ripping out pages of the Bible, memorizing and sharing them, because they don't have the political, economic, or religious freedom to access those resources.

There are also Christians who are not even bothering to read their Bibles for themselves but are getting their spiritual feeding from their ministers or leaders or through other avenues. In doing so, they forgo their personal relationship with the Lord and the ability to test the spirits to see if they are from God. A relative of mine told me that he went to church on Sunday and had to leave because of the garbage the preacher was teaching, which had nothing to do with the word but rather more to do with motivational speaking.

Do people actually read their bibles? I know many who own a bible but never have read it. Is there something in the flesh that makes us resist opening the bible when they might be avid readers of other books?

If this vision is to be tested, we must start with the standard God gave us, His written Word. The Bible teaches that man is a body with a soul, something immaterial, who we are as a person, not just a body of flesh and bone. When we die, our body goes into the ground, but the soul continues on. Hebrews 9:27 says, “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” This judgment is based on what we did with God’s truth, and that truth is revealed in Scripture.

The warning in this vision, that many are carrying locked Bibles and not reading them, lines up with what the Bible already says. James 1:22 commands us to be doers of the Word, not hearers only, deceiving ourselves. If people carry Bibles but never open them, never submit to them, and never apply them, they are spiritually dead no matter how religious they may look on the outside.

Jesus said in Matthew 15:8–9, “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” This kind of dead religion cannot save anyone. The soul is what God will judge, and the Word is what God uses to reveal sin, bring conviction, and lead to repentance.

God told Ezekiel, “And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear” (Ezekiel 2:7). Whether people listen or not, we must speak. The Word is the sword of the Spirit, the mirror that reveals the heart, and the seed that brings life. Locked Bibles mean locked hearts, and locked hearts mean lost souls. So we speak, write, and warn, because souls are eternal and judgment is real.

Thank you, brother. Your point seems to indicate that humans are souls with bodies, becoming persons. This is my understanding, which differs from yours, but we can agree to disagree on these points.

I can agree with this point, but I believe the vision relates to those who don't bother reading any more, although perhaps they might have at one time. Jm2c

Jesus said in Matthew 15:8–9, “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” This kind of dead religion cannot save anyone. The soul is what God will judge, and the Word is what God uses to reveal sin, bring conviction, and lead to repentance
In total agreement with your above premise. Thank you

In this case. I agree to disagree on the premise of locked Bibles being locked hearts, meaning that their souls are lost. I personally believe the vision relates to pure laziness on the part of the believer due to the world we live in, where we can get anything instantly and without effort or without needing to press into God ourselves and therefore creating a personal relationship with him. Ephesians 5 tells us:

14 for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

“Awake, O sleeper,
and arise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Blessings to you and peace from God.

You're right that spiritual laziness is a real issue, and the fast-paced, comfort-driven world we live in can dull people’s hunger for God. Ephesians 5 does call us to wake up, walk wisely, and redeem the time, because the days are evil. That warning applies especially to believers who are drifting or distracted. Laziness can be a factor, and many do neglect God’s Word simply because they’re caught up in the world.

Just a note on what the Bible reflects on the subject, Scripture goes deeper. A refusal to engage with God’s Word is not just about being busy or distracted, it often reveals a deeper heart issue. Jesus said, “He that is of God heareth God’s words” (John 8:47). When someone repeatedly avoids the Word, it may be because they do not want to be confronted by the truth. Hebrews 4:12 says the Word discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart. Locked Bibles do not automatically mean a person is lost, but they are a serious warning sign of a locked heart, and a locked heart cannot receive what God is saying. That is why we must continue to speak the truth, because faith comes by hearing, and without the Word, there is no life.

Here's another way Bibles become locked. And the funny thing is, Christians who haven't read the quote in the context of Isaiah think it's a good way to read the Bible. And when I show them the context, people get upset.

Lets reword this a bit . cause i sure do know what you are talking about my friend .
But lets reword that first sentence .
People are ignoring the full council of GOD , stuck eating THE PRECEPTS and DOCTRINES of men .
Aint no milk of the word about it .
We have milk and we have MILK
the milk of the harlot kills , but the Milk of the word sustains the soul of the sheep .
It is truly bible time in the building . let us eat and feast of the lovely GOD inspired words in them pages .

The lock is that seal placed on only part, that part that finishes the mystery of God as He declared to His servants the prophets. Many are obese because they cling to what is unsealed--to Christ in the flesh ("--Do not cling to Me..."), but have become dry in spirit--My spirit, causing that which was sealed to remain so.

Anybody here are bout KEY (Holy Spirit) the Lord sent to unlock what God said in His Word ?

Proverbs 1:23
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my Spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

People that don't accept Gods correction (turn from their sin) won't be receiving the KEY (Holy Spirit) to be able to understand God's Word.

Regarding the "rich fatty milk" I was referring to the foundation of repentance from sin. This should be the first step of many in becoming worthy followers of Jesus. But we are often stuck in this first step, and do not mature past it.

Hebrews 6:1
Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God,

OH i agree my friend . only most aint even hit the intial repentance at all .
An example
IF anyone came to a jesus who honors thier sin or any sin , YEAH they didnt come to JESUS .
Jesus dont hold rainbows
and kiss korans and budda statues
or preach the love of money
or any other sin .
Its like much of christendom has actually recreated another image of Jesus and that image sure seems
to SUPPORT their own lustful hearts desires with a promise of salvation too .
Only we both know that AINT JESUS they loved .
Paul had simliar problems with this as we read his letters . IF one cometh and preaches another jesus
or etc , you all just go with the flow .
Guess what . The LORD is raising up true men who have no fear of man
and no desire to please man . Rather they simply Serve the LORD , putting HIM first
and correcting any and all sin and error seen .
We really dont have the time folks might think we do . Not to mention no man knows
when their soul will be required . Better we preach JESUS and give no false hope to this world .
Now hit them trenches IFFOREST . The hour is late and its only getting later by the hour .

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked...As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. (Rev. 3:17, 19).

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. (1 Tim. 6:9).

And the Holy Bible is a sealed book:

And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: (Isa. 29:11-13).

The flesh has no affection for Word of God, that is why there is no understanding of it, unless you are filled with His Holy Spirit, John 5; our flesh is to be crucified daily 1 Cor. 15:31

The vision shows Him coming in the clouds for judgment. When the judgment is already determined ( upon His arrival), the door is shut, His word locked ... the Holy Spirit ( The Restrainer) is taken out of the way, the Rapture imminent. Just an impression I got. Obese people? Spiritually full? Not sure about the figurative meaning there.

You forgot to mention speaking on tongues
Speaking in tongues is one of many gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit himself is the same in all who are saved. But not all who are saved may speak in tongues.

If I were to argue that only those healing the sick are saved it would be equally invalid.
