Everyone used the KJV when I became a Christian. It was normal to read it with a group and a teacher who was learned. However, it is advised to look at it like you was studying a medical book and need a medical dictionary to go with it. I use a dictionary anyway, whatever translation I use. Some of the old testament names are tongue twisters. How many here use the spellchecker when typing? Well, the spellchecker is a dictionary.
