Gen 2:5-6 says:
5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

The start of the Flood of waters upon the earth, the fountians of the deep being broken up and the windows of heaven being opened to rain 40 days/nights is first recorded in Gen 6-7.

So there was NO rain on the earth before the Noah Flood.

This is correct. There was a layer of water surrounding the earth in the beginning. This made the planet a perfect greenhouse, in which things on it lived a great deal healthier and longer than prior to the flood. This layer came crashing down, exposing the planet to harmful radiation, and changing the dynamic that was previous to the flood. This is most likely what cause the tilt of the earth's axis and most assuredly caused the seasons. It may well even explain things like continental drift, and the layers we can observe in the Grand Canyon and other places. Even fossils were created through rapid burial, so they are explainable from the flood's perspective. :)

A lot of things changed with the Great Flood and all of them a degradation. For examples:

1. Yeasts, molds, and bacteria were introduced, shortening the lifespan of men. (Gen 6:3)

2. Fruits that once yielded juice that could be kept in carafe for weeks at room temperature began to quickly spoil and ferment, causing grape juice to turn into intoxicating wine. (Gen 9:21)

3. Edible plant life no longer contained all the nutrients needed for man's nutritional needs, so people were forced to eat meat to supplement their diet. (Gen 9:3)

It's why there were really 2 great falls of man, not just one. The very laws of physics were changed and death gained an even tighter grip on people after the flood.

Recently deep sea exploration has found huge water passages into the earths crust.

I mean as no rain in the beginning then rain to cleanse the earth, and snow is frozen rain(winter)
so, rain wasn't intended and when it came it was to rid the world of sin.

Very correct and great point.

Gen 7:11 says:
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

There are some secular and Christian scientific sources, which now confirm, that the world pre-flood had a underground water system, which cooled and watered the earth. It was a very elaborate system.

highwayman .... (my speculation) was that after the flood the larger mountains and valleys were formed ..... partly because if the subterranean water was drawn out of the earth it could have "wrinkled" the surface (made the valleys etc) .... and then God "pushed up" some of the mountain ranges ..... caused the seas to separate the continents ....... I think the bible even mentions God separating the land from the water after the flood .

Anyway .... just some theories on my part ...... my analogy would be similar to taking a smooth round plum and removing some of the interior moisture and end up with a wrinkled prune with the highs and lows prominent on the surface.

The same marine fossils in Baja California can be found on mount Everest so it may have been pushed up at the end of the flood ..... the earths surface would be mud and silt layers which could now be our geological rock layers we see today ..... many of the rock layers are bent and curved which means they were soft at one time.
