It rained during the time of Noahs flood plus Genesis 7:11 also mentions the "Fountains of the deep" were released ....... Today I came across this interesting article :

Earth has a secret reservoir of water, say scientists
Writing in the journal Nature, scientists on Wednesday said they had found an elusive mineral pointing to the existence of a vast reservoir deep in Earth's mantle, 400-600 kilometres (250-375 miles) beneath our feet.
It may hold as much water as all the planet's oceans combined, they believe.
The evidence comes from a water-loving mineral called ringwoodite that came from the so-called transition zone sandwiched between the upper and lower layers of Earth's mantle, they said.

The "deepwater source" was first published last year, and confirms God's word re. "the fountains of the Great Deep" Gen.9:11.

This is an alternative thought to "the universal flood" hypothesis :

we have a lot to discover about our planet. one of the reasons i like to read about scientific discovery is because i enjoy witnessing the incredible ability of the human mind to explore the complxity of Gods creation.

400-600 kilometres (250-375 miles) beneath our feet.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence not seen.

Since true science is based upon principles, which are based upon the known and observed physical nature, how did they make that discovery since the deepest depth
that man has drilled into the core of the earth is approximately 40,000 feet.

They didn't, it is just theoretical hypothesis. However, evidence from actual drillings would indicate that waters at that depth in the earth's core would be frozen. That would further
disprove the mass slaughter of mankind by God from a global flood. Job 6:30

But then again, what makes the bow in the clouds?
