Our Father tells us who the "two" witnesses are......
Once we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit....we are among His "great cloud of witnesses." But, what is meant by THE "two" witnesses for they are set apart from the others?
There are many witnesses for there are many olive trees and candlesticks that make up the two types or two groups of witnesses but...they are not The Two He gives power to. Candlesticks are churches and they are filled with many in the congregations. What are the two olive trees?
It isn't all the witnesses, all the olive trees and all the candlesticks that stand by Him but only The Two Witnesses, the two anointed ones. The "two anointed ones" are the "two olive branches" standing by the Lord. The branches of the olive tree receive "golden oil," truth, from the Holy Spirit and teach, "empty the golden oil out of themselves." They are anointed to feed the olive trees, the woman.
The woman is the church and the church is/are the many olive trees that witness for Him. From her comes the man child, and they (for he is not one) are the olive branches...those anointed to empty the golden oil...to feed her in the wilderness. The "two" olive trees refer to the wild and the natural olive....Israel and Gentiles from which the two olive branches come.
The chosen branches from the wild and natural olive trees are anointed to receive His golden oil and emply it of themselves.
His very elect, His man child, are those He anoints as the two olive branches. They are the (seed of the woman / branches of the olive trees)...whether natural or grafted, that the dragon "went to make war with" for they are those "which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." [Revelation 12:17] Those that are THE TWO OLIVE BRANCHES are THE TWO WITNESSES and as part of the many witnesses they are of the (candlesticks/churches )and of the (olive trees/natural and wild).
They are the two witnesses of Revelation....
All of God's many witnesses are two witnesses.....two groups of witnesses....the churches (candlesticks) and the olive trees (wild and natural olive trees). But, The Two Witnesses standing by the Lord of the earth, which come from those two groups, are separate. They are chosen, anointed, for a specific purpose. The two anointed witnesses are of the churches AND are also both Israel and Gentile....they are The Two Witnesses but they are more than two entities. They are the firstfruits, the anointed olive branches, the very elect, the man child, the chosen few firstfruits from the many called witnesses.....
Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said, "Knowest thou not what these be?" And I said, "No, my Lord." then said he, "these are THE TWO ANOINTED ONES, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth."
