What are the 5-10 lessons you would pass on to a new Christian?

Just that ....I dunno if you can keep your inspiring wisdom to just 10, tho!

1. Don't think about being "saved" as if you have arrived. You are at the beginning of your race.....not the end. Run to win!
2. Avoid divisions....like denominationalism....or any other "ism"....it's all from men...NOT God.
3. Never lose humility...in fact....grow in knowledge AND humility as a pair.
4. Love always
5. Pray always
6. Rejoice always
7. Consider yourself as part of the Body...not just an individual. You need the brethren to grow in love.
8. Sow to the Spirit...not the flesh.
9. Fear only God.
10. Avoid the ways of men...forget worldly politics.
11. Never be religious...always real....always looking to God in the Spirit.

A.Being born again, then water baptized
B. Being baptized in the Holy Spirit

1. Go into the word and stay there. If you want to know the author read his book continuously.
2. Attend a good church... If you can find one. They will speak according to the word and will exhibit God life. Do not receive any doctrines in a church that are contrary to the written word of God.
3. Rejoice evermore
4. Pray without ceasing
5. In every thing give thanks
6. Never Quench the spirit. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth by the anointing. 1John 2:27
7. Never despise prophesying.
8. Prove all things by the word of God, hold onto the good. Seek the best gifts
9. Stop doing anything that appears evil
10. Avoid, nay don't be represented by a denomination. Let Jesus represent you and you him.
