What do you think about a Christian (says they are) that always seems to take offense, seems unforgiving?

Doesn't 1 Corinthians 13 say love takes no offense?

I think it means the person needs to grow spiritually....be willing to yield to the Holy Spirit in forgiving others.
Blessings in Christ Jesus Debp. This person is aware and knows exactly what they are doing. Even this thread will be unforgiven just like the last one.

But what if the "other guy" is a non-Christian? Surely it's fine to hold grudges against non-Christians?
I don't think we should hold grudges against anyone. Holding a grudge will only hurt the one who is holding it.

Forgiving others helps one to be free in one's own heart/spirit.

I came across this at another forum... it's very good.

Forgiveness is at the heart of the Christian faith. It is one of the most powerful and healing actions we can take—not only toward others but also for ourselves.

The Bible teaches us that God forgave us even when we didn’t deserve it. Through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, our sins were wiped clean. This sets a model: just as we were forgiven, we are to forgive others.

Why It Matters Today

In our daily lives, we face hurt, betrayal, and misunderstandings. Holding onto anger or resentment may seem like protection—but it often ends up poisoning our peace.

Forgiveness:

Heals relationships
Frees us from bitterness
Restores our connection with God
Shows Christ’s love through us
