Our attitudes must be one of humility before the Lord and others. Pride rises up pretty quickly if we think that we have it all figured out.
"thinking with sound judgement" <--- This brings to mind Matthew 7:3-5, before judging our brothers and sisters in Christ, we are to be sure that we are not blinded to our own sin hence, remove the log in our own eye.

James 4:6
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Psalm 138:6
Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
