No it isn't but the meaning I got by searching for bong meaning was: "
a musical noise made especially by a large clock:
I heard the bong of the grandfather clock. "

That sort of meaning didn't fit with the post which sparked my question, which said, "Put down the bong bro."

Ah, A bong is a water pipe used for smoking cannabis, tobacco, or other herbal substances. Although that makes sense now (thank you for that) I am not sure what such a device has to do with this thread. But I'll just ignore it. Thanks again.

Well some folks must be hitting the cannabis bong with some of the goofy stuff they post.

They must be reading from the Bong Bible that came with their water bong or something

I read about a "church" in Colorado once that smokes the weed in their "church services"

Must have been a bunch of old hippies from the 60s Jesus movement

I'm glad you put "church" in quotes! I have heard of several churches which seek to help those addicted to drugs, but not of churches that actually use drugs themselves.
