What does Thy Kingdom Come Thy Will be Done mean?

It’s a powerful thing to pray Thy Kingdom Come, or as we would say in modern English, Your Kingdom Come. It’s a prayer that summarizes the entire Bible. But it brings up a lot of questions: What is God’s Kingdom? How does it come to earth? When will it happen? For decades, I have prayed 'the Lord’s Prayer’ without really understanding it. To stop feeling like I am babbling my prayers like a pagan, I desire to discover what Jesus really meant in this line of the Lord’s Prayer.

I look at it as...me saying, this world has nothing for me, I want Your Kingdom and I want Your will for me, not my own will. I will only what You will because what You will is always the best thing for me and what i will is often the worst thing for me.

Matt 16:19 is directly related to your question of Matt 6:10..

Matt 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Matt 6:10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

In the prayer to his Father, Christ spoke of his coming Kingdom in his near future. Now the Kingdom of God officially arrived on Pentecost about 40 days after Christ's ascension into heaven. And whey one entered/enters the Kingdom as a believer they are equipped with the keys of the Kingdom to bind or loosen on earth. That means to do the will of God in Heaven, on earth. To do his will of the Father whilst we are in the Kingdom. We are not to perform Kingdom actions based on our own will. It has to be the will of the Father.

In short, praying for God's will to be done means subjugating our own will or desires in order to act according to God's will, following His plan, instead.

Satan has access to the third heaven (where God's throne is) according to Job chapters 1 and 2.

Sorry not going off on detailed tangents here. Very simply this is the place, I see, where no one sins. God is everywhere... even in the deepest hell, wherever that it, is He not?

Without even considering who Satan is or is not, I do not believe he has access to 3rd heaven. Satan goes before the Lord, but where is that? Consider the unclean versus the clean beasts versus the man who with God has killed all of his beasts. Once his beasts are dead and only the Living new man remains is not then that Living new man able to go where the apostles could not follow Jesus? Why could they not follow? Why can we not follow to the very Light before all of our beasts are killed? Satan is not even a saved unclean beast, is he? Does Satan have any Life at all in him?

Triumph over evil...

They kingdom come... I think means that heaven is coming to us, or us to it
They will be done... The will of God will be done and defeat the will of Satan
