What if Jesus came up to you and said, "You can have heaven right now if you repent of your sin"?

Yes, that's what Jesus did say. However, as illogical as it is for people to turn down the invitation, they are so stuck in wanting to do things their own way that they choose to delegitimize the offer as a "myth."

But yes, for those who have a conscience, or have "ears to hear," it is the greatest possible invitation one can be given!
