When Jesus says that "you must be born again" on earth......He's talking about your Spirit.
To be born again, is to regain Spiritual Union with God, who is "A Spirit". (The Holy Spirit).

“When his breath (spirit) departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish.”
It’s hard to make plans when you are unconscious.

Its the body that is breathing, and stops, and dies., and they bury you, or cremate your body.
Your spirit doesn't breath, and doesn't die, its eternal.

Hell is a place of conscious torment........For one thing, once a person is there, they know they will never go to heaven... so, thats just a small part of the torment.

When you die, your consciousness does not end.......its just departs your dead body when your Spirit leaves it.

If you're not forgiven, then you wont go to heaven.
There are no Christians in Hell.
There are no people who are not born again on earth, who will be found in Heaven.

The Christian is Joined to Christ..... (Eternal Spiritual Union)......as Born again "in Christ".....so, where He is, is where the Christian exists, forever.
