What is the difference between being kind, being a coward or being a suck?

You need to rephrase your question. "Suck" is a verb. How can one be a suck? Is that some aboriginal expression you learned on your walkabout in the outback?
Anybody else want to take guess? Maybe it's a leech ... or a vampire?
Get with it Ronald! Everyone who whose energies are bent on being 'nice' are a suck (get the inverted commas)
'Nice' in case you don't know, is the opposite of being real.....it is that sickly sweet flavour that is often pedalled by well meaning people and that which any straight shooting hobo can pick a mile off.

I can be sugar and spice and all things nice one minute, then turn into a Rottweiler the next minute...not so much the Rottweiler these days..Praise God...LOL.

My wife of 48 years comes from a long line of warrior chiefs, and she has inherited every passionate fighting gene possible. I have learned over that time 2 things. I have learned that warriors can love. I have also learned that they are just like that hobo spoken of... spot a fake a mile away. I don't dare fake it.

The knowledge of Good and Evil and the discernment between the two is a key purpose that God has for us, part of our education about life. Love and hate are part of that. Good and evil come in many forms, sometimes come in a mixture. Life is complicated and we don't always see the truth behind everyone's motives. Sometimes people manipulate others, pretending to be good with ulterior motives and others have genuinely pure motives to help others. People lived next door to seriep killers and thought all along they were nice and friendly chaps. Wives have been married to some and were unaware of their husband's activities.
So someone can pretend to be nice to set you up, like a used car salesmen tells you everything you want to hear then sells you a car that is way over priced. Yes, deception has been around for a long time. Women marry very old rich men about to keel over and pretend to be nice.
The Left try to sell us a bag of goods that is eccentually destructive.
We know and can sense goodness, righteousness and holiness from above, we are to focus on Christ and eternal things, the fruit of the Spirit. Worldly things are temporal and will pass away.
So my spiritually antenna is up. The Holy Spirit gives me discernment of evil spirits and those who are influenced by them.
I would say I have a handle on discerning between good and evil. It seems sometimes that everyone has an angle they play to get what they want. People often have questions about God: "If he was real, why is there so much pain and suffering in this world?" He has a purpose for all that. And that is for them to figure out. When they do, it is truly an enlightening moment, they appreciate all the good that comes from God.

If often men can spot a fake , though not always ,
what makes one think they can fake it with GOD .
Now that be the right question .
For sometimes men can fool the other and christains can play the game quite well in appearance
And while they can fool some and while they do fool themselves , GOD knoweth all . from the beginning to the end
GOD HAS ALWAYS KNOWN ALL .
There truly is nothing hidden from him and all things are open to HIS EYES . HE SEES , HE hears , HE knows
all that a man does and why a man does as he does .
God giveth discernment unto his sheep and ye shall know them by their fruits .
The fruit of the SPIRIT is in all goodness , righteousness and TRUTH
proving what is Acceptable , not to man and the ever changing world , BUT TO GOD . Always keep that in mind my friend .
And let us daily examine ourselves . Heed the SPIRIT and not the flesh
Read the bible and beware for men often twist what little they read to the flocks unto their own destruction . `

But in view kindness as sort of like bravery. You have to have other options, and know it, and still choose it. Being a coward presenting themselves as nice just means you fear that you can’t stand up against it in any other way and so you bow down to it. You let the opposition dictate your choice, or lack of.
However some people think being kind means to bend over to them. To not stand up for yourself. But that’s not true. Even Jesus at times called people out. Especially when they repeatedly shown they have hard hearts.

Being a "sucker'. (easily used, easily deceived).
For example.. if you believe that everyone is already saved, and there is no hell, then you have believed the lies created by a Heretic, and that makes you a type of "religious sucker"..
Its the same situation regarding.... being a Calvinist, or a Mormon, or a JW, or a Catholic, or a disciple of Mary Baker Eddy..
Perhaps QT has found another word that conveys the idea of a "FOOL" without using the word "fool.'

While I too disparage those who confuse being nice with being good, this is not a term I've heard of. (It's been pointed out that the word is verb, where people are nouns.)
Having said that, have you defined terms? Normally, being are a suck because they lack the courage to do good. Kindness is a form of grace, when you go out of your way to do or say something beyond what justice demands. For instance, I have noticed that women like it when you notice they've changed their hair style or are wearing new clothes.
I've even done this experiment. I merely state a fact, like, "You changed your hair style." Their reply is to say thank you - even though I did not pay them a compliment. Just noticing and knowing they appreciate it is kind. However, nice is often not standing up for wrong because it will lead to conflict.
