I'm changing...and Im grateful. Even some of the old virtues are giving way to a childlike faith. Ive considered the lilies of the field. Jesus's yoke is easy and His burden is light.

My husband said to relax, have fun, and take it easy. I did. But there's a strange sense of guilt with it. As if the adulting police will show up and declare me a fraud. All the women I know are anxious. It feels odd but it's also freeing to let go the pressure Ive put on myself to always be improving myself somehow.
There's a humbling comfort in knowing if I disappeared tomorrow, the earth would keep turning. So it's useless to worry about my life. Might as well go my own pace and enjoy it.
I don't have any friends that I can hang out with. I am used to being alone but occasionally I want a good godly woman to talk to. I am 52yrs old and my son and daughter are adults. I am single and do not date and I won't date (so please do not suggest that). I think I find a friend but then I hear cussing and doing things that are worldly. is anyone else dealing with this?
Im hearing more and more that it's hard to find Godly company. Modern dating is awful. I can't recommend meeting people that way.
I do recommend volunteering. You meet wonderful people that way.
Hey @TheOneHeLoves. I don't date either, but I am so engrossed in ministry. I don't have the time or energy to spend on relationships, and to be honest...there's not much out there.
I am super busy with 4 jobs, teaching Bible study and my house. I used to volunteer a lot for 9 years and I still didn't have that close friend.
Most were married or were in a different phase of life.
I do talk to my daughter everyday and we get lunch maybe once a month. She is busy too.

I love my Bible study classes too. I don't have a lot time but it would be nice to meet up once a month or every 2 months.
I am a homebody. I love to cook, work on my flower garden and talk about YHVH and what He shows me in through scripture.

I don't want to watch it again but this seems like murder. did not the camera person before being thrown pan down to the rope?? my heart hurts for her and the family.This one has been making the rounds. It's hard to believe so many people were around her and didn't notice the rope wasn't attached.
