I don't want to watch it again but this seems like murder. did not the camera person before being thrown pan down to the rope?? my heart hurts for her and the family.

According to reports, the person filming was her fiance. The rope is visible in the video, and apparently no one noticed it wasn't attached until just after she was thrown. Everyone who watches the video is utterly baffled.

unless they were drunk, I would say based on that it was murder.

* I received an article on my newsfeed. The subject was, "Things I want to ask God when I see Him". The author is going through some faith deconstruction while his wife has stage 4 cancer. The question at the top of the author's list was, "Did any of my prayers ever make a difference (to the outcome)?"

Since the main article was behind a paywall, I didn't get to see his other questions.

I've stopped using shame and guilt to motivate myself to be a better homemaker and get in shape. It works better if I give myself credit for things done right and build on that.

God's blessing continues to embrace me. I am learning that I won't learn to be holy, acceptable, and perfect by pretending to be someone Im not before the Lord. He can see when Im not being real.

Go back far enough into my history and there's some foolishness like with most people. I am just glad it didn't end there.

I, too, am glad I did not die in my sins and foolishness.

I frequently thank God for allowing me to live long enough to recognize my sins, confess them as sins, repent and renounce them, and rejoice in His love and mercy.
