Me will do me best sir: Initially I would have stated at the point of creation, but after reading all the places where it occurs in the Bible, me thinks it actually started with the sin of Adam. This is speculation on my part, and I do not know if that is correct or not, but as far at the most used understanding of the term world, that would be the starting point for sure.

This is earth is millions of years old. Only Jesus knows that answer. Genesis chapter 1, God didn't create the world in void. About 28,000 year's ago, satan led a rebellion against God, he deceived one third of God's children. Documentation, Jeremiah chapter 4. TOHU means = void.
