When Were The Disciples Converted?

Just like many Christians, they followed Jesus but do not give themselves fully to what God asks for. So when were they converted, well lets take a look at Peter:

Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

Luke 22:54 Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.
55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.
56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
59 And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.
60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.
61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
62 And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

John 21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Note what Jesus says in verse 32 of Luke 22 "and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren..." and Peter was not converted at the trial by the fire, and even when he saw Jesus again it does not seem as if he was fully converted, so when did it happen?

I wonder... If He said,
YLT Jn 15:16 "Ye did not choose out me, but I chose out you,

AV Jn 13:18 . I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen

AV Jn 6:70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

AV Jn 15:19 but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

AV Ro 9:16 So then [it is] not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy (the Spirit speaking)

Who can resist His will, or His intention? Personally speaking, I was not interested in salvation, until the day that He revealed His Son in me. Then I became keenly aware of a need other than what I had been fostering, I felt His drawing and wooing. His Spirit came upon me and filled me by believing and accepting the calling out and not before. Until He enlightens and empowers, as He did for Peter and the rest on Pentecost, we are consigned to destruction.

Conversion, like all God's covenants with men have been, is One sided. None have ever fulfilled the terms, none but His Son could. This should lead us to a greater appreciation of the faith of Christ and the gift to us that it is,
