eugenelester: Why the physical Universe?

When the eternal God our creator decided and planned (using his word(s)) to create the concept of intelligent life on a ‘lower’ scale, below the heaven of his abode, he decided to create a discrete/relative time dimension so he could easily manage, observe, alter at will and 'live' within it. He wanted the physical universe as a place 'to be' and share himself with what he would create in it. After time was introduced (from the beginning with the words/thought/power of God) space became its byproduct. Originally dark space, he then filled it in many places with light energy and thus matter became its byproduct. The finite universe, the 3-dimensions of space and relative discrete time was now created and ready for 'living' matter and beings like us earthlings.

That's a good start! ;)

John 1:1-3 KJVS
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Jesus made all.

It does not say Jesus, but the Word (Logos)(God) did.

The Second person of the Trinity took on flesh and became a Man (Jesus).

His flesh is fully human, his Spirit fully God. His Mind God/Man.

God could not die on the Cross and only the Second Adam could fix the sin the First Adam brought on Mankind.

Jesus was only a promise before the incarnation. 1st, 2nd and 3rd (Holy Spirit) Person of the Trinity.
