You may be surprised to know that the ransom was not to Satan to let the captives to sin be set free. The offering was unto God so that we could come out of the bondage of sinful behavior that comes from being separated or dead to God's Spirit because our spirit man becomes corrupted and unclean when we do not have the Word aka Christ and the Holy Ghost covering us up to keep us from being exposed to sinful teachings. We become NAKED AND ASHAMED of our lewd deeds that keep us bondage to a hellish life in the dust or lower parts of the earth as in POVERTY STRICKEN, DIS-EASED, BROKEN HOMES ETC... because we disobey the Voice.. Word... of the LORD our God.

He wants to RAISE US UP from the dead to life being made whole in His integrity, godly character, righteousness, in TRUE LOVE which is Jesus, which is THE WORD who became flesh to not only die so that we could be resurrected from a life that only kills being death, hell and the grave, to be made ALIVE(Spiritually) through the CROSS(OVER) from DEATH UNTO A GOODLY LIFE,but was also our example in bodily form for us to see in action while he was yet with us, but now we know him no more in the flesh, nor do we have a likeness of him to make idolatrous images calling them God to worship, for we do not know what Jesus looked like nor is God Almighty human. God is Spirit! The Father did not become flesh... The Word of God lowered himself to become flesh, to die for us. God allowed His Word to die on the cross of the old fleshly law/covenant that was killing us because without the Spirit of God, we are not able to hear the Word or receive him. The Word/Son/Jesus was being forsaken by the will of God to give us a new covenant WORD who is Christ raised up on the 3rd day. To just look at the law kills, but the Spirit teaches us how to obey the Voice of God.

Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
KJV
Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

[God The Father] All things work together for My purpose, and come to pass as I have written them. What of belief and salvation? Are all saved because of their belief?... Or is it much more? For the demons believe on God The Father Most High, and tremble. Are they saved because of their belief?... Certainly not! For those, who reject the Spirit and blaspheme its name, to them forgiveness is lost and salvation is never found.
So then, all those, who have come to believe in Me, have begun the journey. The beginning of wisdom is knowing I am God, yet still the threshold is not crossed. To cross the threshold, leading up the highway called holy, one must first believe in Me, then proclaim He who I sent to die for them. Still must they continue, for belief and proclamation are the first steps in joy leading to salvation. The gift is given... It must be accepted, fully, through acknowledgment of one’s deep desire to know God, and to have their sins lifted and forgiven through Christ. Then come works in your life, as a proof of faith, originating from your belief which started you on the path to salvation.
So then, by your works, not by your mouth, do you solidify your proclamation, that indeed Jesus is Lord and His ways do you accept and follow forevermore. Faith without works is no more faith, and works without faith is no more works... All is in vain. I am coming very quickly... Many of the lost are becoming found, yet do not belong to Christ, nor can He lift up those who believe, who still belong to themselves and this world.

[Jesus The Christ] You must forsake all and come with Me...

Give of yourself completely to The Father, through Me...

Then one can say they have truly overcome evil,
Through Him who has overcome the whole world. Amen.

All things are possible with God...

Prayers are answered, and miracles made manifest before your eyes,
As a wonderful recompense for fervent prayer.

Call on The Father, and He shall call on you.

(Using all the wrong terminology) I would describe the sacrifice of Christ as follows .....

..... it is as though the "rules" of God's Holiness requires a payment for sin

...... it is as though the "rules" for God's impeccable fairness and justice makes it a free choice for anyone who accepts it or rejects it (nobody can say God made it too difficult for them)

...... when all is said and done , and on the final day .... everyone ..... including the devil and his followers .... will have to admit we each have determined our own destiny ..... nobody can blame God if the results are unpleasant.

...... and most of all ..... everything God has done to rescue us from an unfavorable destiny is a demonstration of His love

God is love and He proves it .... along with His Holiness and justice. He cannot do it any other way.
