I don't know but I think it speaks to why Im more easily influenced than my husband and why contentment is harder to attain in general as a woman. Women are usually meant to identify problems.

The first woman described her mind as 47 tabs open. The enemy only has to work on one tab to turn a series of thoughts into a worry and a big concern.

This is why I curate my content to women who are actively striving to be peaceful and grateful. I don't want to be influenced by women who complain about their husbands and about domestic life.

Yes. It is so easy to be ungrateful and critical of what we have been blessed with.

Further discussions on this with my family revealed that both males and females struggle with the issue of a mind that does not rest.
I wonder why some (most?) men have the ability to turn off their thinking in order to rest their mind. (peace of mind)
Perhaps it makes them better prepared to be decisive and objective when required. Not sure.

Men tend to have a more compartmentalized way of thinking about things.

The closest Ive gotten to The Nothing Box is zoning out while watching a makeup tutorial. I felt a mental reset just watching it and was able to go back to discipline mode afterwards.

I remember when I was a young single, I was sharing a rented farmhouse with a friend.

He came home one evening and found me in the TV room staring at a blank wall.
The TV was off, the house was silent. He looked at me, then looked at the blank wall that I was staring at and asked me what I was doing.
"Nothing." was my response. Which led to a lecture about finding better use for my time. - LOL

I decided that I need to model the character of God to him as a father.
He has complete access to me at any time. (within reason)
I stop whatever I am doing and give him my undivided attention.
Interest is shown in the things he is passionate about.
We recently sat and listened to an entire eleven album
20th anniversary set of vinyl records he had purchased.

That's great.

Few people can connect the context of the entire Bible to think through issues.

That is why people usually disagree—they tend not to think with a holistic perspective, but instead focus on just one single aspect of a matter.

Therefore, I really appreciate those distinctive ways of thinking.
