I don't believe NATO would ever have attacked Russia, but how was Putin to know that? I don't trust Putin either when it comes to how much he cares about the freedom of peoples in nations that Russia gets involved in with regard to global conflicts, nor with regard to the freedom of anyone in Russia who expresses opposition to his views. But I don't think the Ukrainian conflict would have begun were it not for Western interference in Ukraine and the endless prodding of the Russian bear with new missile bases along the border with Russia. Go figure.

But politics that I'm talking about now is not pointing toward Christ and His Kingdom to come.
