What religions require that you believe about God and his Son Jesus Christ is what is going to send multitudes to hell.

Example. Calvinists are required to believe that God is an unjust tyrant that condemns people to hell before they are born. It is not possible to believe that about God and be saved. It is blaspheme against God the Father, his Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. You might be better off to believe in no God at all than to blaspheme him with such heresies.

Catholicism: The belief that God is a taskmaster that will crack you with his whip if you fail to follow and believe the Catholic doctrine of the Catholic church. In the 33 canons of the Council of Trent it says that if you don't obey and believe the 33 canons of the Council of Trent you will be anathema, expelled from the Catholic church and sent to hell. Again, it is not possible to believe such things about God and his Son Jesus Christ and be saved.

All religions tend to insult God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. Salvation is by grace through faith, Ephesians 2:8. Making God out to be a villain or a tyrant is not of faith. All holiness religions want us to believe that Jesus has failed to deal with the sins of humanity and now it is up to us to deal with our own sins. This teaching is without faith and is anti-Christ.

Christianity is a religion of faith. Many religions do not encourage faith, instead they encourage works and obedience to the law. No one will be saved without faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ. Christians are justified by faith, Romans 1:17. We are justified by faith because we are justified by Christ. Jesus is the one that fulfilled the law. Jesus is the one that atoned for our sins. When one mixes in works and obedience to the law, they have perverted the Gospel. Those that pervert the Gospel, do not believe the Gospel and are outside of the faith.
