Because1 John 3:4) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.and2 John 1:9) Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.therefore1 John 3:9) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. If a person chooses to stay in presumptuous sin in any way, how can they ever abide in God? The scripture makes this point plain and simple. When someone tries to argue against these verses, they are deceiving themselves and trying to justify or make excuses for sin, but “the scripture cannot be broken”, This the Lord said himself and who would argue this final saying when it is the Lord who said it? Plain and simple, people can’t handle the truth so they manipulate it, turning it to suit them the way they want for convenience sake, but who can prosper when they manipulate God’s wordor take out the parts they don’t want to hear? As it is written “Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not?” People don’t want to hear what they don’t want to hear. People see what they want to see. People block out the verses of conviction that condemn the conscience because they are afraid to accept the truth, period! The last thing people want to hear in today’s age is that we are called to flee from every sinful behavior in our lives, but it is the truth. This is not optional, nor is debatable because the scripture claims loud and clear that any sinful living is unacceptable. Name a verse in the entire bible that says, it is ok to keep living in sin because God still loves you, or anything of the such. People call the truth perfectionism, but the Lord said “Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin” and to the adulteress women, “go, and sin no more”. People twist what they can’t handle, manipulate what they can’t comprehend. This is the error. This is the mistake. “who sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him” is not written in vain, but is a grave warning, but many people make of implying their own wrongful standards, their own understanding, which is specifically what we are warned not to do throughout the bible. “Woe to them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” This is not written in vain, “turn not to the right hand nor to the left, remove they foot from evil”. Knowing the bible, the word of God is critical, but putting “the commandments of men”, which teach error and leniency are damnable doctrines meant to improvise or compromise the word’s power and meaning. Two ways, only two, to die in sin, or to break free from the bondage of it and abide in the doctrine of Christ.
