See, the error at John 1:1 has mislead billions. In the Greek lexicons( trinity religions own translating) The true God is called-Ho Theos in the second line, plain Theos to the word in the last line. To show a difference from God to god. The only word in Greek for either God or god is Theos. When the true God is mentioned in the same paragraph with one called god-he was called Ho Theos to show the difference. It is that way at 2 Cor 4:4, the only other spot in the NT where that occurs. Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.
and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
If the word were God-then your second line in simple english reads-And God was with God---that is impossible, there is only 1 God.
It takes believing Jesus over translating errors. Few will, probably the reason Jesus teaches-FEW will find the road that leads off into life.
