Jesus said to His disciples, "...Let us pass over unto the other side" (Mark 4:35). However, they soon faced a disruption. "And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full" (Mark 4:37).
Some Believers have been continually hit by life's circumstances and it feels as if they are breaking you apart. The disruption of the enemy has left man wondering if God has forgotten His word to you.
The Lord would say unto you -- "You are going to pass over to the other side. You will come out on the other end of this trial. I have not forgotten you. Hold on to My promises. Cling to My Word." Just as He spoke peace to their situation, He asked them two questions: "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?"
During the trying times, we must fight against the spirit of fear and rise up in faith. "So then faith comes by hearing and hearing, by the Word of God" (Romans 10:17). When Jesus asked them the question "How is that you have no faith?" He, in essence, was saying, "Where is your faith in my Word? I told you that we were going to pass over to the other side."
