When opportunities come and doors open, don't stand looking at them. Step forward, even if it's different from what you expected. Perhaps you will feel intimidated or inadequate. Step forward anyway.
You are at your time of crossing over
Don't coast or become casual. Be focused and intentional with your time. Remove frivolous distractions. Seek His face. Press into His presence. And take hold of everything that He's placing before you. Be prepared for a "swift shift."
Isaiah 41:10 - "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
It is easy to say "Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!" when times are good. It is easy to believe that God loves you when you are on the mountaintop enjoying the sunshine. But what happens when you are down in the dark valley surrounded by your enemies?
When King Jehosaphat was surrounded by his enemies, He acted with wisdom from on high. Instead of putting his commandos in front, he put worshipers in front! They sang of God's love for them -- "Praise the Lord for His love endures forever!" And God utterly destroyed their enemies! (2 Chronicles 20:21-23)
So whatever trials you are in today, don't be afraid. God is there with you strengthening and upholding you. Just sing of His love for you and let Him fight your battles for you!
1 Corinthians 1:30 - "And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption,"
Sanctification does not mean anything less than the holiness of Jesus being made ours manifestly. As born-again Believers, we are the sanctification of Christ.
This is part of our Christ identity that was bought for us in the finished work of the cross. The perfections of Jesus manifest themselves in our mortal flesh as we go throughout the day, abiding in Jesus, soaking in His love and giving it back to Him.
We are presently equipped to bear fruit that remains for His advancing Kingdom, thereby, bringing forth the Great commission through our Christ calling.
Sanctification is "Christ in you."
Question to ask myself:
Am I willing to believe Jesus for the sanctified life in Him, that He is living through me?
The Lord is sending a breakthrough to the Believers who have persevered through tests and trials and stood their ground through it all. Rivers of living water are about to flow out of their lives and ministries into others. The Holy Spirit is moving in the dry places. Jesus is about to open rivers in desolate heights and fountains in the midst of valleys.
He is sending a fire to Believers who have laid down their lives and surrendered all for the Kingdom. Through difficult times, they've continued to count the cost and paid the price. They are those who will be set ablaze to go forth to fan the flames and stoke the fire in others that are to be discipled, equipped and sent out. They won't allow anything to annihilate their zeal, because they are strong in Him and will do exploits.
The walls are breaking down, and the rivers are being released into the Great Commission visionaries. There is a move of the Holy Spirit that won't be quenched in the days ahead. They will no longer be stagnant and dry but will experience a flow that they've never known before. Angelic activity is being released from the third heaven that no man or demon can quench. Do not fear the days ahead, but be intoxicated with expectation, knowing that He is releasing His glory in a magnitude which no human or devil can stop.
