Daily Meditations And Affirmations - September 3, 2026

  • Welcome to Christian Forums, a Christian Forum that recognizes that all Christians are a work in progress.

You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

Remember that the incarnated God was called a fool, a drunkard, and one having a devil. And we are His followers! Yet we would desire to enjoy happiness and the approval of men. We would follow Him without knowing, without even desiring, an intimate understanding of His cross, the reproaches He knew, and the humility that was His.

If you exercise the art of replying, of defending, of attacking, then there is no humble heart within you. Replying to things said about you grows out of secret pride from where self reigns. The excuse of self implies a lack of understanding of the true worthlessness of your self- nature.

So, chosen one of God, it's time to get up and rise to your rightful position in Him. It is time for you to embrace the new destiny that awaits you, for you have been called by God to make an impact for His Kingdom.

Come into His presence with great expectation, because continual exposure to His glory and light, as you rest under His healing wings, will bring real and lasting TRANSFORMATION through apprehending the ascended life in Him!

"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory..." (2 Corinthians 3:18)

Jeremiah 5:31 - "The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so."

Christians are taught from childhood that pastors (and priests) are the religious specialists. They are the qualified ones who handle the "spiritual" things of God, while everyone else is called to secular work. Because clergy are viewed as the religious specialists, the rest of the church see themselves as passive recipients.

The problem is that, regardless of what our theologies tell us about the purpose of clergy, the actual effect of the clergy profession is to make the body of Christ lame. This happens not because clergy intended it (they usually intend the opposite) but because the objective nature of the profession inevitably turns the laity into passive receivers. In short, clergy and nonclergy alike are responsible for the ailments of the present-day church. We need a new worldview regarding the meaning of the body of Christ.

A new model for understanding the ekklesia. A new framework for thinking about the church.

Elijah prayed for rain until it came (1 Kings 18:41–45). Daniel prayed until the principalities operating around him were subdued (Daniel 10). The New Testament tells us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Don't stop now. You are making great headway.

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10 NKJV).
