Sound is a chief ingredient in the things God builds. When He builds, He does not use brick and mortar, He uses sound. Again, sound was used to assemble the creation. "Then God said, "Let there be light;' and there was light." (Genesis 1:3) Today, when God builds, He continues to do so using sound. When He determines to do something, He begins by "calling those things which are not as though they were." Thus, sound is instrumental in revealing the glory of God.
At this time in particular, our hearts are being drawn to the sound of the Lord. Jesus said, "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." (John 3:8) The wind is known by its SOUND, and by its effect. Whenever the Spirit moves, there is a spiritual SOUND coming from the spirit realm.
In 1 John 1:5, John writes that the message he heard from Jesus and now declares is, "God is Light." Light speaks of the power and life of God's nature. In John 8:12, Jesus states that He is the Light of the world, and the verse finishes by saying that when we follow Him, we will have light as well.
God's presence in us is like a light that shines and distinguishes us from those who do not have this light. We are told to "live as children of light" (Ephesians 5:8). The greater the light and presence of God we release, the more the darkness will be overcome around us.
We find that when we intentionally allow the presence of the Holy Spirit to be released through us to touch others, people are drawn and they experience a peace they have not experienced elsewhere.
Affirmations:
I BEGIN TO THANK HIM. I NAME THE GIFTS HE HAS GIVEN ME, STARTING WITH THE BLESSING OF LIFE ITSELF.
I SEE MYSELF WITH VICTORY.
I VISUALIZE WHERE GOD WANTS ME TO BE. THEN, I ACT AS IF I AM ALREADY THERE.
