We must understand both the wind and the river. The Holy Spirit can come suddenly like a mighty rushing wind and shift a season in a moment. But the Holy Spirit also flows like a river from within the Believer. We cannot control the wind, but we can steward the river. We can pray for the wind of God to blow, but we must also take responsibility for the river He has already placed within us as we nurture and pursue the Ascended Life in Christ by discipling, equipping, sending out, and overeeing the spiritual lives of others.

This is the time to walk with true goals, aims and divine purposes, not drift about in an endless circle.

In such times of silent waiting before Him, God will place His thoughts in your heart so they become a great blessing to you and to others. He will create within you desires and dispositions that will be as rays of His glory shining in you. Put it to the test now. Offer yourself to Him in sincere humility, and believe that God, in His holy love, will make Himself known to you.
Fear is a spirit, and it seeks to paralyze you so that we don't make any movement. It distorts our perception, and it prevents you from being obedient to God's direction. It magnifies, it brings a threat, it tries to minimize your faith; and it creates hesitation, anxiety, and instability, therby sabotaging your ability to bear fruit that remains for God's advancing Kingdom.
