The mystery of the Bible and specifically the book of Revelation, has eluded most people for millennia. Which was intentional. Intentional—by God—because each of these many generations needed to be put off until the end, or many generations (like this one) would not have been included. If everything was finished earlier in history, the wrap-up would have cut us out long ago. Which bring us up to the present age and time.

The key to the book of Revelation--and quite literally all of scripture, is given in chapter 10 verses 5-7:

5 The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand to heaven 6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be time no longer, 7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

If you missed it as so many have previously, the time of the mystery of God being finished was for a set time. This is that time spoken of. More importantly, [the key] is that interpreting everything on a timeline was the wrong approach...and not doing so, would cause the mystery of God only previously revealed to His servants the prophets, to be revealed and finished.

That's it—that’s the key!

Regarding the book of Revelation, most people in the past, thinking everything would all occur in this world, kept putting all the things written in its pages off to what was assumed to be a future time. When, all the while, much of what is written in the book of Revelation, actually is and has occurred—in heaven. Thus, as the title of the book would suggest, it is a “revelation” of things that have otherwise been invisible to the world, and unseen.
