How can God create all things out of Nothing? Sometimes I read atheists arguments concerning God. It is not like I go looking for the arguments but sometimes in research their POV comes up. One recently was a book on how others viewed the disciples of Jesus from the outside. They debated if they were just trouble makers. I’m not real knowledgeable with science or history but one thing did stand out which is the argument of: how can anyone be expected to believe God can create all things out of Nothing? God’s starting point of nothing. Then He creates and forms from nothing to create all things. I guess this goes along also with the encouragement of the word of God to have a reason for your Hope so that you may tell others what is the Hope. Jeremiah 4:20-23 Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment. [21] How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet? [22] For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. [23] I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

This should quickly connect with Romans 3:12-17 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. [13] Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: [14] Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: [15] Their feet are swift to shed blood: [16] Destruction and misery are in their ways: [17] And the way of peace have they not known:

In Jeremiah the Word tells us: I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

Isn’t this where the creation of Genesis begins? Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

The account of the earth and the heavens and seven days through God’s account of the creation of all things of that which was void and without form. the creation of all things For and By Him who gives Life to that which was void of Life and waste...which men have questioned endlessly as unbelievable and disputable. But here, In Jeremiah, if we continue to read on further we see the once fruitful land is broken down from the wrath of God...becoming a wilderness. Desolate. Wasted. Jeremiah 4:28 goes on to tell us “For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it , I have purposed it , and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.”

So the question is asked... why should anyone believe in the creation account of Genesis that God’s Spirit moved upon that which was void and without Life and separated the darkness from the light and called it good. How can God create all things out of Nothing and out of that nothing speak all things into existence so that what once was not ...is so?

Jeremiah again says “in vain” thy shall make thyself fair. “In vain” “void” “desolate” “waste” “burned and ready for the Fire” “a heap” ...is all flesh and the glory of man. Paul said it often “though I be nothing”...also to be not as one who labours in vain but for the profit of the Lord and a New Name which is the only Name which is everlasting and does profit and increase and is fruitful.

How can God create all things For and By Him out of “Nothing”; out of that which is void and desolate and broken down without any light? Jeremiah 4:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

God does it everyday in 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Here is Hope. That we serve a God who creates something profitable in Spirit and gives light to those who once sat in darkness and the fear of death. How can someone ask how God can create out of nothing in light of Death passed unto Life by the resurrected Son...a New creature created in Christ...the fullness and stature of a New man. Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Jeremiah 4:27
[27] For thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

There is so much in His word in relation to the house of flesh, the tent, the tabernacle moving from men to God; from flesh to Spirit. 1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

The miracle of Life and Light carried in an earthen vessel. We have to remember to not narrow it down to religion but “man” was created in the image of God until vanity took root and sin was found. 1 Peter 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

But there is Hope. 1 Peter 1:23
[23] Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

...God creates all things for and by Him out of nothing: speaking light into that which was in darkness, speaking Life into that which was once dead. Colossians 1:16-17 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: [17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Isaiah 40:26-31 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things , that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth. [27] Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the Lord , and my judgment is passed over from my God? [28] Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord , the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. [29] He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. [30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: [31] But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, ...and not faint.

Do you see it? The curse enters in and brings down the house. Zechariah 5:1-4 KJV
[1] Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll. [2] And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. [3] Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it. [4] I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

God’s Spirit rebuilds and raises it anew...built up in Christ free of the curse. The House build of God does not fall. Hebrews 10:21-23 And having an high priest over the house of God; [22] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. [23] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;
