Romans 14:7;15:13
Hebrews 10:32-34
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Romans 14:17 KJV
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13 KJV
"But remember the former days, when, after being enlightened, you endured a great conflict of sufferings, partly by being made a public spectacle through reproaches and tribulations, and partly by becoming sharers with those who were so treated. For you showed sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and a lasting one."
Hebrews 10:32-34 NASB1995
Thoughts: Joy is a spiritual fruit. I love through joy, how we abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost. I love how those who followed Jesus abounded in joy and hope, even when their property was being seized, and persecution was going on. The kingdom of God is not physical, but spiritual, so joy must be spiritual also. I know when I sing to God, joy fills me up and overflows from me. I think singing is a gift from God to be able to have joy in hard times. Praising God, there is no room for anything else.
