Yes, they know that we arent descended from apes, ok. Dont get plexed. But it appears that we did share an ancestor, so shorthand, ok? It's just easier than saying "hominid" a hundred times i guess. And even if you choose to believe we did not share an ancestor, it would likely be rather obtuse to deny the possibility that we did not do a lot of the same stuff as like "cavemen" or whatever?
