Jesus is your best friend as well as your King. Living in HIs presence means living in two realms simultaneously: the visible world and the unseen, eternal reality. You confess daily of your consciousness of Him while walking along precarious earthbound paths. Together, with Jesus, you will face whatever each day brings: pleasures, hardships, adventures, disappointments. "I can bring beauty out of the ashes" - Isaiah 61:3
Meditation:
It is imperative that we all take a strong stand. We must make up our minds to not continue to stumble about in the confusion that seems to gridlock today's culture. Rather, we must walk with God-given goals and aims and discerning His divine PURPOSE for our life.
We're not to be vague, thoughtless, and distracted during these days. We can and must discover great guidance and guidelines for living day by day, advancing in the knowledge of His CALLING on our life, possessing the wisdom that God is offering to us.
Paul, in Ephesians 5:15-17, offers the Church a most severe warning: "Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time [buying up each occasion], because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is" (AMP).
