Hey April! Click on your avatar at the top and click on privacy. Untick the receive updates and emails. Hope that helps!

I just started getting them as well....I think it was broken for a time...looks like they got it fixed.

Okay good because it just happened again with a new and different thread and it's getting really annoying when it's filling up my inbox. I'm going to try @Mayflower's suggestion but I'm glad to know that it isn't just me.

I looked and there are more email update boxes under preferences, so you can check there too

Me too. I'll change my settings soon, but for now it's OK.

Or what Heart2Soul said, being broken. I hardly ever go to my email. LOL. I'll have to look. Prolly have like 7000 messages or something to delete

And cloud was down the other day as well on both here and CF. So prolly just technical difficulties. :) Have to love technology. LOL

I had to turn it off in preferences, clicked one and they all were un-clicked for receiving emails. I turned off message notifications but I still got e-mails when someone posted in a thread.

I can’t even figure out how to post an OP.

I use an iPad and google chrome browser, and I see no way to start a thread!

You just go to a section and then on the top right hand corner you'll see 'Post New Thread'.
