Funny thing is that, once understanding, I mean "really" understanding true faith and trust...any and all worries vanished, the fear of death also vanished. Now, there are "concerns" I guess you could say. Concern for friends, family, the Church and where it is headed and, that is where prayer really comes in for me.

What kinds of things do you worry about in the future?

When you find yourself worrying too much about the future?

Remember that nothing is as bad as we think it is. Really I had to give up politics and face the facts that they are not that important in life, it wasn't easy because the last four years I was so into politics that I hated liberals and I mean hate. I realized that all my worry and everything I made it into an idol, and I had to let it go wholesale.

I watch no news, have no cable. We stream through Roku and get local channels for 5 bucks a month and cable channels for 20 a month. Plus other things but no Fox, Newsmax, OANN because I realized they are not news but opinion. Their goal on whatever side is to keep us fearful, angry, and worried constantly.

I think things are a great deal worse than we are aware of.
Nancy is right. Doesn't matter what is happening... And it's going to get worse not better... Trust God. Trust His love. He does care about you. Remember, all the hairs if your head are accounted for. Not one falls out He doesn't know about , and take note of.

You mean what did I just do? A guy on my Messianic site just said that Jesus wasn't divine. I told him that he needed a cranial re-adjustment. I helped him visualize it with this picture:

I hope they're not mad at me. Lol

Pray. Somebody told me when I was a fairly new Christian the worrying is a sin because it means we aren't trusting God. So if I find myself worrying I confess it and pray - and keep praying. I don't worry so much these days. Jesus tells us not to worry or be anxious:
Matthew 6:34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

You can't be serious.

Stop focusing on news and media. Set your mind on Christ.

*Sigh* I wish it were that simple. Unfortunately, it's everywhere. :(

I guess when it comes to things in my own personal life though,.. waiting to cross that bridge when and if I come to it is always a good thing to do. :)
