Yes. God's judgement and wrath is just. He commanded people many times to kill.I was thinking that if God suddenly appeared before me and told me to kill someone for no specified reason that I'd say "no" . Is that bad?

Your statement is in error, God would not tell you to kill someone without having a reason. He would not need you to do it, He could Himself.

However I think his tactics today have changed, the whole "submission to authorities" thing.

I'm sorry I asked the question here but I needed to know what other Christians answers would be, for reasons I feel to threatened to explain. But all you answers were valueable to me and I thank you for sharing your thoughts. I will not post here again, that I promise.
Yes, he did.I agree, the Lord did not command anyone to kill...
What the flying flip does blowing up a plane have to do with submission to authorities?Well radical Muslims would agree with you, TexUS. Don't ask questions submit to blowing up the airplane, right?
"Love your enemies" is a favorite of pacifists but the truth is it simply doesn't hold up in the context of the Bible- it does not apply to JUSTLY killing someone (Self defense, capital punishment, etc).

According to one of the Apocryphal books he did. I realize this is an uninspired and probably false story. However my point with this, is the early church that lived and walked with Christ, and this idea was not universally unheard of or it would not have been kept and passed on by so many. If Christ was such a pacifist you'd never see this story getting passed along by anyone as it'd be blatantly inaccurate. Need I bring up the story in the temple? Need I bring up in Revelation when he speaks death to those who oppose him?Reiterating my points above:
1. In the OT God gave orders for his people to destroy the surrounding tribes as he was forging a nation and fulfilling a promise made to Abraham Isaac and Jacob and their seed. [Those who believe in Jesus by faith].
2. Jesus our Messiah, did not tell anyone to kill in this way. He was the high priest of a new covenant. He took the power of the law [which was sin and death] and nailed it to the cross. [Hebrews 8:12-13]
3. The Lord [Jesus] did not kill anyone nor did he tell anyone to kill. In fact, he said
Yes and I can't think of any circumstance when God would command someone to kill however, we haven't heard the circumstance, so who's to say?We are talking about a conscious decision to kill someone based on an angelic visitation.

What about God commanding Abraham to kill his son?
What about God commanding homosexuals to be killed?
False prophets?
Your version of god is not the Biblical God.
The NT teaches non-resistance.Ahhh, so since JESUS didn't give a command to kill, that invalidates it when the FATHER did so.
Is the Godhead at odds? Or are you wrong?
Hebrews 13:6 (NKJV)Was it bad to kill Hitler? Or loving to the Jews he was killing?
Is it bad to kill an intruder? Or loving to your family?
The NT teaches non-resistance.
Matthew 5:39 (NKJV)
[sup]39 [/sup]But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.
Hebrews 13:6 (NKJV)
[sup]6 [/sup]So we may boldly say: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"
