Hi to all and there are some that believe in Water Baptism and believe that all are safe under the 10 commandments and that is true than they will have to say that Paul was water baptized .

Most use Acts 9:17 that Paul was baptized .

I say that Paul was NEVER baptized .

What say you and what is your proof ??

Clearly there are two types of baptisms, Johns with water, and John himself said Jesus would baptize with the Holy Spirit.

Good luck :D this topic always leads to a works basted salvation. Getting people to understand their are two, one of repentance = water = your decision
Dose not equate to receiving the Holy Spirit .........that is a decision made by God.

edit;
watch and see the birds will soon be here looking to snatch Johns testimony about Jesus baptizing with the HS away

Scripture does not give an account of Paul's baptism, but you can rest assured, he was.

I don't usually say things I don't mean. Yes, I am sure he was baptized with water.

I have no idea how Paul was baptized...

Hi Robbie , and many believers say that Paul was water baptized and that incliudes Covenant theologians , Acts 2 , 9 , 13 , and 28 er , who are Hyper-dispensationalists and the reason you will never know , is that Paul preached , ONE BAPTISM , in Eph 4:5 and the context , means DRY .

There are 12 different kinds of Baptism in the Bible , dan p

That's cool... I try not to worry to much about little differences in people's beliefs... my experience is those are the kind of lil things people can argue about forever and never end up anwwhere except feeling pissed off and puffed up... haha... the thing I'm personally working on the most right now is becoming less selfish, less fearful, less controlled by lust, and more loving... basically believing God more and satan less because I pretty much suck at that... I'm also trying to let go of my ego and pride... I studied the bible for a lot of years and all that knowledge really puffed me up and didn't really make me anymore loving... actually it more made me kind of judgmental and self righteous and spiteful... I've now come to a place where I believe eternal life doesn't come through thinking I'm right about the scriptures but simply walking in a daily relationship with the bread that came down from heaven... God's Word...

Hope this blesses you buddy...

Excellent post Robbie. May God help us all to see the futility of religion. Thanks for posting this.

How were you baptized Dan??
How was I baptized Dan ??
How was Paul baptized Dan ??
How was the Queen baptized ??
How about Obama ??
How about the 9th disciple ??
How about Ronald Reagan.??
How about the 3rd last Pope ??
How are the southern Baptists baptized ??
How about the Northern ones??
How about all those other Baptists ??
How about all those buggers who are not even Baptists ??
How about you follow John the Baptist
How about I follow Paul the undefined Baptist.
How about that ??

I took the easy way out. I was dunked , sprinkled , bonked on the head , baptized in the spirit , went under in the Jordan river , splashed whitemud river water in my face , said a prayer when I did it , I lived beside a Baptist church for 14 years , had a business beside another baptist church for 25 years , I have all the bases covered except for infant Baptism. Still trying to figure how to get that done. .

Will I get to heaven ??
Or do I go straight to hell because I am not a Baptist ?? I am talking about a genuine Baptist , not those other kind. Got that ?? When I say I am not a Baptist , I am talking about not being a real honest to goodness genuine Baptist , that is what I am not.

Any other questions ??

1 Corinthians 1:14-16 (NKJV)
[sup]14 [/sup]I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, [sup]15 [/sup]lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name.
[sup]16 [/sup]Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Besides, I do not know whether I baptized any other.

Hi Duckybill , and since I do not have the time , I will reply tomorrow and I see that that you COULD not repond to Eph 4:5 where it says " one baptism " and that should tell you that it means " ONE " AND NOT 12 BAPTISM as the Greek BAPTISM is a Transliteration and not a translation , see you tomorrow , dan p

Your statement was "I say that Paul was NEVER baptized". You are saying that Paul was intentionally disobedient to God. I say you are being silly. I quoted where Paul baptized others. You are saying Paul was a hypocrite.

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Hi db , and you are BLINDED by my post and I said that Paul was Baptized by what 1 Cor 12:13 says .

I believe that Paul NEVER WATER bAPTIZED and I stand by that , because Paul was NEVER WATER BAPTIZED .

And you believe in water Baptism , right ?? dan p

Hi tw , and I bet that you can not tell me how we are baptized into Jesus Christ in Rom 6:3 and Baptizo is in the Passive voice , Aorist Tense and in the Indicative Mood , dan p
