Why did the Pharisees and Saducees and the great religious leaders of Jesus' day seek to kill him?
Why did they bare false witness against him?
What was their motive?
Jealousy?
Afraid that He would draw the people away from their control?
Afraid that they would lose their power?
FEAR.
I believe fear destroys it's own. It eats it's own. If you live by the sword of "fear" you will die by the sword of "fear"
People hated Jesus so much they couldn't or wouldn't hear the truth.
And they hated Him because they feared Him.
