Is there an ignore button feature on the forum? I've only been here a few days and already I would like to ignore someone. If there isn't, I'l just have to deal with it.

I do want to stick around and that's why I want to put someone on ignore. I've only been here a few day's and already I have someone calling me a false teacher for suggesting the use of good biblical resources. Having been on different forums for about 10 years I've learned not to get into it with people who are needlessly argumentative. I like a good argument about the things of God. But it doesn't have to be mean and judgmental. And that's where the discussion was headed with someone so I'd rather ignore the person than take the chance of being banned.

I don't know? Nearly every other forum I've been on has an ignore feature. It quells unnecesary arguments and detestable replies.

Sounds good to me... haha... hope you stick around... I've had a few people call me names on here... but I've had other people be really cool even if we don't share the same beliefs...
Maybe we should all work on using the ignore button in our mind... might come in handy in our every day lives... haha

I don't like being called a false teacher simply because I suggested using other bible study tools. I can see nothing but bad things coming from that person.
Another good member led me to the ignore feature and now it is done!

On the upper left side of the forum page click on 'signed in as". The very bottom link says, Manage ignored users. Click on that and go from there.

Probably because they don't want to waste energy on people that just like to argue and what's more emotionally draining than listening to someone who just wants to initiate bickering all day long... haha
