Dear CB, I've been having dizzy spells and they're getting worse. Today I think I almost lost consciousness. I brought it to my doctor a few times and they tested me, at first they thought it was dehydration because it began around the heat spell that hit. But now it continued and they tested me and said it was vertigo. But now I'm concerned it's something else entirely as the room isn't spinning today but I still don't have good balance. The doctor said it could be a stroke, but I doubt that. Anyways thanks for any prayers.

What I really want to know is what medically is wrong with me. My Father said vertigo always has an underlying cause. And that's what I need to know. Thanks, Devin.

Sorry....

Anyway, prayer and the Scripture can keep one's inner equilibrium, even if the body's equilibrium can be hurt sometimes...

I am no doctor, but if I had symptoms such as this, I would see if I was getting enough to eat, getting enough rest, and staying comfortable warm.

I made an appointment with my neurologist. I do get enough to eat and it happens after being awake for a couple hours in the morning. There is one condition that I mentioned that happens for people that have a history of migraines, which I do have a history of migraines. It's called a vestibular migraine. So I'm hoping it's that because I don't think that condition is serious. They were concerned about heart problems with the lightheaded dizziness. But my heart checked out OK.

Had another severe dizzy spell accompanied with pain in my head that felt traumatic. My chest hurt like it was affecting my heart. I have a neurology appointment on the 1st.

Praying for you, Devin.
Thanks, it was kinda scary, I felt like I was dying. It's just turned into head pain now. I think it might be a type of migraine, but I'm not sure till I see the neurologist.

Update: It's hitting me again. Kinda a wild ride.

I get these dizzy spells too sometimes from a few traumatic brain experiences I had many years ago. It can be scary. Not to mention the pain and aura caused by migraines, which run in my family. Hold on, buddy, we're with you!

Devin, do you think the dizziness might be caused by a sinus infection and/or allergies? I’ve had these symptoms in the past. May the Lord bless you with healing and peace.

Severe pain in my brain and trouble balancing. Also wondering how you're doing?

Ida hasn’t come into town yet. We’ve had some rain and it’s been breezy, but it’s predicted to come in later tonight or tomorrow morning. Please take care of yourself and try to rest, okay? The Lord is hearing all our prayers for you.
