YES, Christ's Church ( His Chosen Ones) is His Authority on earth - Not that harlot church from Rome.
Uh huh . . .

Now, point me to WJICH one of the disjointed and perpetually-splintering Protestant factions that ALL teach different doctrines based on the personal interpretations of their founders is "Christ's Church".

God is NOT the Author of confusion . . . .

only in RCC dogma and nowhere else.

The deliberate twisting you do to scripture to make yourselves feel superior is amazing and yet so totally wrong. Modern Pharisees.
Typical anti-Catholic drivel.
You make idiotic claims - bet offer ZERO refutation.

Nice job . . .

There are many voices in the world and all have their significance (1 Cor 14:10), and so long as they do not contradict Scripture
But again you are saying the God does not have the authority to make corrections or additions.

And the Word was God, and the Word was made flesh. And He has His Word written in Scripture, so that we may know His Word and not believe another.

Scripture is not just 'about God', if you mean like a story or tale about God, but is God's Word written in the flesh, by Him that came in the flesh.

We don't worship 'Scripture' nor the book of the Bible, but by Scripture we know we are worshipping the true God in spirit and in truth, and not worshipping a false god, that is no god.

Scripture...inspired but not dictated. Christ is the Word....the New Testament is man's documentation of that. Men make mistakes. As far as New Testament scriptures....it became an assigned position of respect. Do you think you can find were any Apostle designated his own writings as scripture? When the Apostles are talking about scriptures, do think they referring to their own writings or of the writings of other Apostles. A lot of the New Testament books are one sided correspondences to various churches. Which is another factor in the possibilities of misunderstandings.

The message of salvation is the miracle of survival after man got involved. The details take a lot to understand.

aww,

Actually its the truth and its long past time for someone to finally rub your nose in it.

You have yet to scripturally refute any of those "idiotic claims" you speak of so what does that do to your self vaunted position?

You just talk in circles and say nothing.

Of course I am. I only thought you were talking about people having a walk and talk with God in their own lives. I didn't realize you were advocating corrupting Scripture itself.

The last warning Jesus made to us in His Word was not to do what you take pleasure in having done:

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (Rev 22)

Scripture...inspired but not dictated. Christ is the Word....the New Testament is man's documentation of that. Men make mistakes.

So, not just a corrupter, but an unbeliever. Ok.

When the Apostles are talking about scriptures, do think they referring to their own writings or of the writings of other Apostles.

What do you care? Their writings are as flawed as any other writings of 'inspired' men and women.

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

I'd be more interested in hearing some of the words you have heard proceeding from God's mouth, which would therefore be just as valid as other flawed people God has spoken to pertaining to Himself and teaching. Afterall, if they agree with Scripture, then they would be certainly true.

Anything?

WRONG on TWO counts:

1. The Catholic Church isn't a "denomination". It is the Original Tree from which Protestantism splintered - and continues to splinter.
2. What is "RCC"? I don't belong to that entity - I belong to the Catholic Church.

Ummmmm - I've done nothing BUT give solid Scriptural refutations of ALL the idiotic arguments.

I suggest you go back and actually R*E*A*D the posts, son . . .

Scripture...inspired but not dictated. Christ is the Word....the New Testament is man's documentation of that. Men make mistakes.

Sola Scriptura is to put our trust only in God and His Word, which is written by His prophets and apostles in one book and translated for us all to read for ourselves, to know of a certain, what God has spoken to us in the world for our faith, salvation, edification, and justification with Him.

And as the Scripture says, we do not put our trust in men, but only in that teaching by men confirmed as true by Scripture.

Scripture never tells us to put our trust in any man, nor in ourselves, nor even in any of God's prophets and apostles, and especially not in 'our leaders'. We are to obey them that bring Scripture of truth and true reasoning of Scripture, because the rule over us they bring is that of God and His Word.

Why then do those who reject Sola Scriptura on the basis of all men are flawed, which is true, and so none of 'Scripture' can be trusted as true on it's own, having been inspired of God, but no doubt written in flawed manner: i.e. not 'dictated' to them our of God's own mouth.

But then they proceed to put their trust in other traditions, and 'their leaders' that pass on those traditions not found in 'flawed' Scripture. And they never even question those traditions, nor those leaders as flawed. So much so, that to even suggest they should be judged by Scripture is heresy against their not-so-flawed leaders.

They won't put their trust in 'flawed' Scriptures, because the writers were flawed, but they do put their trust in unflawable traditions and leaders that teach them in unflawing manner?

Rejecting Sola Scriptura is to shut the door to the truth of God, which no man should shut, and to open the door to cultish idolatry in other things than Scripture, which no man should open. (Rev 3:8)

At the time that was written the text was not a book....but still I agree with it....but it has not stopped a lot of tampering with the Bible.

So, not just a corrupter, but an unbeliever. Ok.

Facts are facts...not an insult.

I certainly care or I would not have dedicated my life to it. Again God can and has made corrections and additions. Most of it is additional information. He did not retire after the biblical era. Christ told the slaves to obey their masters. Do you think Christ would support the concept of masters or tell slaves to obey their masters today?

No, thats a false claim refuted by history ( thats also separating the break away of RCC elements as protesters from the other churches that never were part of the evil empire to begin with). The "protesters' didnt break away from the legitimate church- they broke away from the RCC and with good reason.

2. What is "RCC"? I don't belong to that entity - I belong to the Catholic Church.

No, thats another of your delusions. Prior to Constantine there may have been a grain of truth but after his blending with paganism and the course the "Church of Rome" followed up to what it is today- to even insinuate that the RCC is anything even remotely close to being the 'catholic church 9universal) as described in scripture is a blasphemy second only to the Holy Spirit.

Remember, I know your false doctrines and history probably as good as all of you so you will need to come up with more elaborate fables to impress me.

And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend.

Face to face dictation.

Why do unbelievers make judgment about Scripture? What's the point? It's not like they believe it as dictated from God or something.

No doubt. Sense they can go wherever they want, with whatever they want.

It's just that many of them end up committing themselves to religion built upon tradition and not Scripture, and begin believing and obeying in the inerrancy of those traditions, so that they who reject them as unscriptural are heretics.

They begin by hereticking their way from Scripture, and end by hereticking Scripture believers, when their newly found unerring traditions of their unflawed religion's fathers are rebuked by Scripture.

Where is the house you will build for ME? saith the Lord

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
Has not My hand made all these things? And so they came into being,” declares the LORD. “This is the one I will esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, who trembles at My word.

Your finally right on "God not being the Author of confusion" now obey Him and get yourself out of the prostitutes house.

Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins or contract any of her plagues..."

No, dear Brother, This is a ETERNAL Statement of God's Will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Our fathers had the tabernacle of the Testimony with them in the wilderness. It was constructed exactly as God had directed Moses, according to the pattern he had seen. And our fathers who received it brought it in with Joshua when they dispossessed the nations God drove out before them. It remained until the time of David, who found favor in the sight of God and asked to provide a dwelling place for the God of Jacob.o

But it was Solomon who built the house for Him. However, the Most High does not dwell in houses made by human hands.

As the prophet says: ‘Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool.
What kind of house will you build for Me, says the Lord, or where will My place of repose be? Has not My hand made all these things?’

You stiff-necked people with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit, just as your fathers did. Which of the prophets did your fathers fail to persecute? They even killed those who foretold the coming of the Righteous One. And now you are His betrayers and murderers— you who received the law ordained by angels, yet have not kept it.”

The highlights are not directed at you but at TRUTH - God's Church began in the Garden - Amen

I was really referring to the fact on earth that as Paul says there is a difference between Jews, Gentiles and the church of God (1 Corinthians 10.32); of course, the Throne of God is eternally settled.
