I downloaded Ispell but just can't get it to work on either of my computers. I have Windows Vista on this one and can't even find it anywhere other than in the control panel under add ro remove programs. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

It may have attached itself to your word processor (MSword or OpenOffice). If that's the case you won't find it under c:\Program Files. I suggest uninstalling it as it may adversly impact the performance of your office software. VISTA is notorious for reacting badly with third party software as is Windows7. Some games don't play at all. Academic software, which I deal with on a daily basis, has BIG problems with VISTA and Win7.

Most word processors, including the MSoffice series, have a spell checker as well as a thesaurus embedded within them. Why are you installing something else?
It's not a good idea to jack up your computer with third party stuff like that. You're just asking for trouble.

If all else fails, donate your computer to charity and buy an Apple.
