@Cachalot: I'm reminded - by those 'apple of thine eye' verses of Luke 22 where the Lord Jesus says "I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not", etc. The Lord Jesus had started in the plural: "you", but then He says to Simon Peter, "I have prayed for thee..."

Heartening that the intercession of the Lord Jesus for His people (Hebrews 7.25) is indeed for individuals, and not just a vaguer, general, collective matter.

Have you noticed the pattern yet . Those jews who loved HIM He accepted . Those who did not , were cast out
if they refused to repent . ITs the same today . The apple of GODS EYE , are those WHO HOLD FIRM TO JESUS .
All else will be cast out . Have you ever truly wondered Why a world , a nation , a tribe or a tongue , or a man
Would refuse such a simple salvation . There has to be a reason .
THERE IS . JESUS SAID IT . THEY LOVE SIN . See most all folks would easily embrace a savoir
but will they embrace that savoir , if it means they must die to their sins . THAT IS THE QUESTION and IT IS THE TRUTH .
The only condemnation one has , IS that they, THEY , wont come to the LIGHT . AND THEY wont come , lest their evil DEEDS be exposed .
And here folks are that follow calvin and others , PUTTING the blame on GOD for folks that end up in hell . WHEN IN TRUTH
the fault lies in man . NOT GOD .
