Quit trying to live:
Have you came to the greatest principle in God: 'life comes out of death.' We have talked about that a couple of times. Bears repeating because it can be the greatest understanding in God you come to. 'Oh death where is thy sting' scripture reads! Why is death mentioned so many times and seems so important to the Lord? Why is it when Paul starts with a Christian the first thing he tells them is they have been crucified in Christ. That death of Jesus was the death of every born again believer. Why is that? Life comes out of death.
Life comes out of death. If a corn of wheat does not fall in the ground it remaineth alone.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. - John 12:24.
But if it die, that is the fruit. Why is that? What is a play here. Spiritually Christ is alive in you because of death. How does death work in a believer. The same thing that saved you is the same thing that will be death to you. The cross! The cross is the place of death (Jesus death) and that same death has worked and is working in you for life to come out and be fruitful (Christ). The cross is glorious in the since it is your salvation but it will kill you. Death will always be at work in you because it will bring forth the only fruit there is; and that is 'the fruit of the Spirit! His fruit..you as a believer cannot produce anything but death! Fruit is produced only by the Spirit; His fruit is in you as you (it hangs on you as a branch hangs fruit but the vine and produces the fruit not the branch). It is Him in you and He produces the fruit..or produced that fruit in you. How? Because death is working in you to bring forth the Fruit of the Spirit!
Do not despise the world or the things of the world; because the circumstances and situation in it (tutors and governors) will bring forth fruit.
1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2 but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. - Galatians 4:1-2.
12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you. - 2 Corinthians 4:12.
Paul was quite clear when he said death worketh in me that you might live. His own life and death would bring forth life and even multiply. The fruit of your labor so to speak but much deeper.
