Malachi 4:1-6 This prophecy deals with what will happen to the people of Judah; the Jews and Israel; the Christians, in the last days. Read and carefully consider his Words:

For lo, the sun comes, glowing like a furnace and all the audacious sinners and all the perpetrators of wickedness will be like stubble. And the Day that comes shall burn them up... But the sun [Son] of mercy shall rise with healing in its wings for you who fear My Name...

Soon to happen, God will use the sun; the wicked will be judged by fire and all the faithful believers will be protected by Jesus. Isaiah 30:26-30, Psalms 50:1-6

It will be the Sixth Seal worldwide disaster; Revelation 6:12-17, that will commence all the end time events, leading up to Jesus Returning as world Ruler.



Keep in remembrance the teaching of Moses, My servant, and the laws and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel.

The prophet tells them in the name of God; ‘Remember forever the Commandments of Moses, My servant: in every time and situation.


Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome Day of the Lord, that he may return the heart of the fathers through the children, and the heart of the children through their fathers — lest I come and smite the earth with utter destruction.

This means that to prevent a situation in which God will have to come and destroy the earth, He will send Elijah the prophet to arouse people to repentance.

As individuals choose to obey, they will merit to be counted among those who fear My Name and their names will be Written in the Book of Life. Malachi 3:16-17


The above prophecy “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet ... that he may return the heart of the fathers…” means that Elijah’s role to provide spiritual assistance to people living in this World, will take on immense proportions before the great and terrible Day of God’s fiery wrath and he will awaken the heart of people to repentance.

Indeed, what other convincing explanation is there for the wonderful commitment to the faith in these days, in which many youths and young adults are tenaciously swimming against the stream of hedonism and lusts which are part of our modern culture.

Elijah will return the heart of fathers; to the Almighty, through the children, by the children. They will show their parents by their joy and love; the right way to live.


Throughout Jewish and Christian history, the parents responsibility was to educate their children to observe Torah, the Bible and its Commandments. To say that a time will come when the children will teach their parents to repent, seems absurd.

But now, we see many parents becoming religious by the example of their children. “He will return the heart of fathers to the Almighty through the children.”


There is very little time left now, for people to repent and have their names Written in the Book of Life. The forthcoming great and terrible Day of the Lord’s fiery wrath, prophesied over 100 times in the Bible, is near and coming fast. Zephaniah 1:14-18

When I put Malachi 3 & 4 alongside Matthew 13, am I sensing something that is spiritually-discerned, that has to do with the Lord's working in my heart, or am I just imagining it? And what exactly did Jesus mean when He said, "Let him who has ears, hear?"

I didn't quote anything, that was Keraz. However, my versions of choice are the New King James Version and the New American standard version, the NKJV for retaining the poetic style of the KJV, the NASB for its accuracy as a translation (My first bible was a KJV, but the archaic language and grammar make it more difficult to understand and no scholars familiar with the original languages consider it entirely accurate. )
I own many electronic versions as part of some inexpensive study software or as Amazon purchases, but when I find passages that are translated questionably with regard to sound doctrine, I compare them to Young's literal translation to look at a word for word translation and consider the implications of the differences (which are always doctrinal. )

I have never said that Malachi used the word 'sun'.
It is from Isaiah 30:26a, that we find sun. How the sun will suddenly flash out 7 times brighter, and cause the moon to shine as bright as the sun.
We know about how the sun does occasionally explode and send out a mass of superheated Hydrogen plasma. A big one will literally cause the graphic effects as described by Malachi and in 70 + other Prophesies.

Your question is a wee bit vague, but Malachi 3 is considered Messianic and also parallels the curse written upon the flying scroll in Zechariah chapter 5. As far as the application to your heart, if it's a feeling of conviction, then confess it to the Lord, give Him the glory, and praise Him for the remission of all sin. If it's a blessing, accept the responsibility, give Him the glory, and praise Him for His grace. The Lord just gave me remembrance of this verse and to be honest, I never quite got it before:
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 1:20
With regard to your last question, if you can understand it, it's for you.

I read this, and thought “what could possibly go wrong?”
Have you heard the story of the dead whale on the beach? There was this town (escapes me for the moment) that had a large whale wash ashore, quite dead. Some effort was made to tow it back into the water, but it was far too large. As the carcass began rotting, the usually delightful seaside town started to, well, stink. And so, the industrious Mayor came up with a brilliant solution: they would blow that stinking whale into kingdom come. All the villagers were promised that when completed, the whale would be blown into such tiny portions, it would, essentially, be vaporised.
The day came, people were excited…as they usually are when explosives are being used. And the ‘experts’ set their charges…and…boom! Except, as you’d expect, the plan did NOT go as intended. What really happened, is the whole town got showered in sticky, greasy, rotting, whale flesh. Which, I understand, is particularly DIFFICULT to wash off.
My point being…NASA thinks it’s going to trial out its “save us from Armageddon” plan, but knowing how ‘grand plans’ often go, they’re just as likely to ‘knock it’ onto a path that will end up impacting us at some point.

Can I ask….how is your theory of an CEM fitting with the 6th seal?

Revelation 6:12-17
[12] When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, [13] and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. [14] The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. I guess I can see it from verse 14 onwards, but I don’t necessarily think of ‘earthquake’ or ‘sun going black’ or ‘moon like blood’ at a massive solar flare. Granted, I’m not a scientist, so if I’m missing something, please share, I’ll find it fascinating.

That's what I was thinking.
Although it would line right up with end times prophecies.
Maybe everything else they tried so far isn't killing us fast enough.
They probably made themselves a nice cozy planet somewhere, and Elon Musk probably has a fleet of space vehicles they can all get away on.
And they will make this planet sooo miserable that people will want to go to this new world.

I will take half an earth existing in peace, then a new planet run by those who leave everything in their path in destruction.
And those which kept not their first estate...

I believe that Mathew 13 refers to the purging of the believer's heart. Not a common, though not unknown, view.
This process has been referred to as the inner crucifixion. Let him who has ears, hear!

There's a study site that always comes up when I search for a scripture using a paraphrase called bible hub. I had been using bible gateway, but their search engine is incredibly ineffective. A Coronal Mass Ejection is the only literal means whereby all the vividly stated prophesies about the terrible Day the Lord will send His fiery wrath to change the world.

THE LORDS WRATH – how will it happen?

What these (and many other) prophecies, seem to be describing is sunspot activity.
Maybe the sun is building up to a huge Coronal Mass Ejection, something we do experience with minor CME’s. They happen very suddenly and unexpectedly, reaching earth within hours and are capable of causing enormous damage and deaths worldwide.
All electrical and communications systems, industry, transport; our modern infrastructure could be destroyed, or at least severely damaged. Armies would be back to 1800’s technology.

A CME explosion of the suns surface, as described in Isaiah 30:26, with the sun flashing 7 times brighter, would be one of unprecedented magnitude and would literally cause all the graphically prophesied effects. For example; the moon would shine bright red as it reflects this sun explosion and our satellites would crash to the earth, like ripe figs falling. The microwave effect will cause tectonic plate shift. Deuteronomy 32:22
