There was a restaurant down the street from my House my wife and I loved to go to. We were one of the last customers to be there when the shut down was announced. Sadly. It closed up and is now a Gas station after they demolished the building and built a new station.I am, but not allowed customers here lolz.
When I chat with some friends from overseas
Friend: "How are you?"
Me: "I am still in lockdown"
Friend: "what are you doing still in lockdown, everywhere else is now out of lockdown."
Me *feeling left out* I just have to explain how Australia has been slow with the vaccine roll out, how we are still waiting for 70 and 80% double vaccination. Lolz
Many small businesses over here can not even find help. Because no one wants to work. They want to sit at home and collect government checks. So more are closing. One of the businesses we have worked with for the 17 years I have been at my company and has been in business for over 80 years may be forced to shut down because they can not get welders. Because again, No one wants to work.
I am not sure we will ever recover from this. Its sad.

Australia is setting their 70 and 80% targets on over 16 year olds
Australia's double dose 16+ vaccination percentage is currently 64.4%
But if we take into account all ages, the double vax percentage is actually 52.3%
Which leaves around about 12 million people in Australia who still not have been double vaccinated.

That's not correct.
718,000 deaths out of 44.6 Million cases in USA is at 1.6098654708520181% deaths from Covid so far, so the survival rate is lower than 99.983% for USA
KEY word....TARGET!

I am not working from home Pauly, I am not working at all, haven't been since start of August
I am collecting the gov payments at the moment, as I really need to build up some money and the government wants a vast majority of people to stay at home right now anyway in my state to keep people safe. But will be getting back to work as soon as I allowed to though, I have a backlog of work building up waiting for lockdown to end.
