Interesting!

I was "new age" in the early 80's before I became Christian. I was having a pretty fun time with "the powers of belief".

Are you then thinking that because we believe as we do, that the belief causes such things to be? That was my pre-christian thinking.

Much love!
As manifesting beliefs into the real world?

I don't know, you tell me.
I will tell you what I believe... that the real world is the abode of God and His overcoming people. What anyone else may speak of as their world is or perhaps even fictional.

I was referring to our external environment that we all live in, regardless of any made up world in people's heads.

You refer to what the five senses of a person supposedly is able to perceive as "our external environment". It is that which to me is the temporal or fictional. The Reality is God only and the things of God...

When and if you really encounter God and walk with Him at the end of your allotted time, you will know better what I mean. You call it a made up world in people's heads, but that is because you have not been given the "eyes to see" and the "ears to hear" about which Jesus speaks.

I wasn't singling out Christian's in my observation. I said people in general.

I cannot speak for Christians in general and I rarely try to do so... Not many people, if any, agree with all that I believe. Other than the Catholic Church in my pre-college days, I have never belonged to any main stream denominational Protestant church so most of what I know about them I have read on forums like this one.

What's going on, you sound overtly casual at the moment.
Maybe. It's hard to know sometimes what is useful to share. When you say about people altering their environment, did you mean in a "mind over matter" sort of way? That's what I'm talking about, just wanted to make sure we're talking about the same thing.

Much love!

I don't feel anything for this anymore.

Ice meth? I thought ice was meth.

During WW2 the Nazi's gave meth to their ground troops to keep them pushing against the enemy.

They ate the crystal meth like it was candy.
