25 whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
26 even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27 to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: - Colossians 1:25-28.

This is it look no further! I like the words Paul uses to move believers in understanding..to tell believing individuals they do not need to look any further. The words Paul uses remind me of when Jesus said:

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. - Matthew 24:26.

For many if they read their bible .. jumping everywhere looking for what it is that can fulfill them. Nothing works..sure relief comes and we get some flashes of hope here and there. I have yet to see the religious fulfilled..they operate from an incomplete stand point in their understanding.

Its good for religion to have an ignorant people..they keep coming back dis-satisfied.

Paul used the words "to fulfill the word of God." You would think we would not need to go any further than looking at what it was that Paul said was given to him to give to us (the born again) to fulfill the word of God. The doctrines of man, for lack of a better word, has so deluded and clouded the word of God..man cannot read what is written, the way it is written and get the proper understanding of what the Spirit is saying.

There is no agreement on the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ.. and we search for truth. We can't see what the Holy Spirit does..to one group he is tongues..to another group he is their baptizer.. another group has him doing everything under the sun except what Jesus said he would do.

We don't know life from teacher to father..it just all runs together. If you ever put it together..more than likely you will be a heretic. Pin-pointing in the word of God for what it says to believers causes trouble..because the ignorant will be ignorant still. They want to pull you down to a level they stay on because of ignorance and wants no one moving in understanding. They have bought the lie of..no one can know. Contradicting what the word of God says about knowing.. knowledge and understanding. The word of God is turning into a political game of.. nah thats not what I believe. And side choosing! Tribal.

I like to use the word 'perfect' because that is the word Paul uses..more than once. The religious pull their hair out when you use the word 'perfect.' They have decided nothing in this world is perfect and you are not allowed to use the word. We are perfect, completed, and the fulfilment of the word of God!

Soulman,

Perfect also means mature. I believe the reasoning for many of Paul’s letter is for them to become mature Christians having complete faith in trusting God and the Lord Jesus, in whom is founded redemption and the forgiveness of sins.

Teleios - Tel-I-os- G5046 complete (in various applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character etc); neuter (as noun with G3588) completeness - of full age, man, perfect.

Brought to its end, finished
Wanting nothing necessary to compete end
Perfect
That which is perfect
Consummate human integrity and virtue
Full grown, adult, of full age, mature

Growing into full age to become a Son or Daughter of God no longer a child of God but have grown mature in Spirit and faith. Having love for God and love for others.

Pride is what keeps us all from experiencing all that the Lord desires! People have to add "what they think", or something they feel they have discovered "in between the lines" or a secret message that took deep digging to find.

As long asd believers are mortal we will experience this mess until our King comes and takes us home!
