I’m 80 now. “Feeling uncomfortable” has nothing to do with it…

all I can say is…in my 60 years walking with the Lord , I have seen many more come to Christ when told about heaven awaits ,and the power of His blood… than being told “Hell awaits” ….which by the way is not the Gospel…the Gospel means GOOD NEWS .

Yes, one is attracted to Love and Life and should yearn to move toward them rather than to simply move away from death.

It does not say they will live in another place. It says that the gift to those who believe is eternal life. Those who do not believe will not receive it. the bible speaks of a second death, not a second dying.

Indeed! Anyone who has not obtained Life, as in the Life which Jesus brought is dead. Adam and Eve died and as a result, all of their offspring were born dead. Can the dead give birth to living children?

If you say "poof" (reverently speaking) they are gone...why then are those who don't know God and obey not the gospel punished with EVERLASTING destruction?

You probably don't realize you are quoting what the Bible says. Everlasting destruction.
What is destruction?

KJV is not consistent, or accurate. It also is oriented toward Catholic doctrine. That adds to people's confusion.

How long is the "after a while?"
